Emily Mashaal

Emily is completing her honours thesis in the Cognition Lab over the 2024-2025 school year exploring attention and memory. Previously, Emily’s research focused on cognitive and social development in preschoolers.

Emily grew up in Montreal, Quebec, where she developed a curiosity for people and their behaviours from a young age. In the future, Emily hopes to work as an educational psychologist in the school system, helping students with learning disabilities find methods of learning that work for them. In her free time, Emily loves reading, hanging out with her friends, exercising, and spending time with her dog.
